Feliza Bursztyn Welding Madness

Feliza Bursztyn (1933-1982) was a Colombian artist who revolutionized the South American art scene. Bursztyn created her kinetic sculptures using discarded machine fragments, tires, cables and other metal parts, eventually adding hand-dyed fabrics, motors, light and sound to produce increasingly complex installations of environmental proportions. This volume is the first comprehensive investigation of his life and his presence on the art scene in Colombia and South America.
